M.O.F.C.A. (Mothers of Future Collegiate Athletes) is a program created by the parents of MBA players to provide support to mothers of athletes in high school, in cotleqe, and even in professional careers. Parents will be educated on academic requirements for their children, along with the recruiting process of colleges and sports agents. Other programs, such as drug and alcohol abuse and violence prevention, will also be presented. By educating parents, MBA will help parents develop a more disciplined child with strict morals, values, and a sense of loyalty. M.O.F.C.A. members will meet once a month to discuss current issues and opportunities. They will serve as a watch program, taken from the pages of old, where each parent will help look after other children in the program, thus creating a large family base. Parents must attend the meetings, but only one parent is required to attend.
M.O.F.C.A. members will also participate in programs together to help build the bond between the parents. As coaches, it makes our job easier when values are reinforced at home. MBA maintains family standards and will continue to do so, thereby separating our program from any other in the country. This program will also help improve the status of MBA by offering MBA advice from parents on improvements, by maintaining high standards, and by providing positive feedback. The program will exist under MBA Inc. and will function in service of MBA. Below, we will list the moms who make up this organization, their positions, and their duties. As MBA expands, more membership will be needed.
